Are you a fresh postdoc researcher with interests in environmental ethics and/or technology ethics? We encourage you to consider applying for GACR Postdoc Individual Fellowship - Incoming at the Center for Environmental and Technology Ethics - Prague (CETE-P).
CETE-P is a research Center funded from the Horizon Europe program (ERA Chairs) and led by Mark Coeckelbergh. The Center is hosted at the Institute of Philosophy in Prague, the largest humanities institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The main aim of CETE-P is to connect research on ethical issues concerning environment and emerging technologies.
The duration of GACR Postdoc Individual Fellowship is up to 36 months. While carrying out their own research project, the GACR Postdoc Fellows will profit from participating in the vibrant international environment of CETE-P as well as the Department of Applied Philosophy and Ethics of the Institute of Philosophy.
The deadline for submitting the application to GACR (Czech Science Foundation) is expected in early April 2024 for fellowships starting in January 2025 (the start of the project can be postponed up to October 2025).

The most promising submissions will be selected by the CETE-P internal committee by 1 March 2024. Successful candidates will receive full support from CETE-P’s team and a senior grant specialist in preparation of their GACR application during March 2024.
