Every spring, Climate Dialogues will bring to Prague two prominent global scholars who will explore some of the most urgent ethical and political issues related to climate change and environmental crisis. CETE-P research team leader Iwona Janicka will moderate the dialogue between our two guests. This series will be of interest to anyone looking for a deeper insight into the ethical and political dimension of the current ecological reality. CETE-P Climate Dialogues will also aim to provide new ideas and inspiration for a thoughtful climate action.

2025 Climate Dialogues (22 May) will feature a renown American political philosopher Wendy Brown in dialogue with an intriguing German public intellectual Eva von Redecker. During their discussion in Prague, they will probe possibilities of theorizing freedom anew in the context of ecological crisis. A freedom that rises with, rather than against the living world requires a thorough conceptual and practical reorientation.
