Kateřina has a background in librarianship and social policy. She gained experience managing the repository of the Czech Academy of Sciences and coordinating the reporting of research outputs to the national CRIS system. She has a special interest in persistent identifiers and metadata and is a member of the Curation Advisory Board of the international Research Organization Registry (ROR).

Katerina works as an Open Science Specialist and Data Steward. She supports researchers from CETE-P in implementing open science practices, including open publishing, research data management, and compliance with the FAIR principles. As a Data Steward, she focuses on the practical aspects of handling research data throughout the entire research lifecycle — advising on planning, organization, documentation, and long-term preservation to ensure data are high-quality, shareable, and reusable. Katerina strives to contribute to making research more transparent, efficient, and sustainable.
