
Geoffrey Dierckxsens is head of the Interdisciplinary Research Lab for Bioethics (IRLaB) at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague and former President of the Society for Ricoeur Studies (2022-2024). He obtained his Ph.D. form the University of Antwerp in 2015 on a dissertation on Paul Ricoeur and his current research areas are phenomenological bioethics, enactivism and applied ethics more generally. Geoffrey Dierckxsens has published widely in journals such as The Journal for Medicine and Philosophy, The Journal of Medical Ethics, Mind & Society and Topoi. He has books published with Brill, De Gruyter, Bloomsbury, Rowman and Littlefield and Lexington Books.
